Every time I try curling my hair it always looks un-natural... Do you have any suggestions on how to make my curls look natural? My hair is very silly and soft but holds heat well. Thank you!

You could always do heat less curls like braid it overnight ,

It also depends on the size of the curling iron

Curling wands do a really good job you could try using thicker amounts of hair as opposed to thinner to make it look a little more loose

Http://youtu.be/lmMCDWU63lw or just use flexy rods as normal! I'd say over night curls will give you best "natural" results!

Start from the roots of your hair. A lot of people start a couple inches down which doesn't look natural because the tops are straight (or whatever texture your natural hair is)

Get a stretchy thin workout headband and put it on like a hippie headband. Then take sections of hair and wrap around, adding as you go. All of your hair should end up around the headband. I'm doing it right now and it always looks great! Just don't wrap too tightly or you'll get some weird curls.

Another suggestion I have would be to work your fingers through your hair a bit after you curl it to loosen up your curl.
