I'm going on a boat field trip and we're going to get a little messy. What should I wear?

Practical. You do not have to look cute, unless it just happens to work out that way. Think practically before fashionably because it will be on a boat. Wear something you won't stub your toes in (there are lots of things to stub your toes on on a boat, trust me) so that means no flip flops (if you have converse they work really well because of the rubber tip. Leggings are also a good choice because you can move around in them, and wear an old t shirt but absolutely bring layers because the wind from the sea will make it cold!

Shorts (if it's warm), boat shoes if you have them, sneakers work too, and then just a simple t shirt that you don't mind getting a little messy.
