Many lip products promise all sorts of life - changing long-lasting formulas, but really, how long do lipsticks actually last on you?
for me, I'd say an hour or 2 if its with a lipgloss and I haven't eaten or drank.

It truly depends on the lipstick. But I wore my kvd liquid lipstick today and it lasted 8 hours with eating and drinking before I took it off. But it depends on the product and what you do. Like when I wear lipstick (and want it to last) I don't eat anything with oils, I drink everything with a straw, and I try not to lick my lips at all.

For me it depends weather the lipstick is matt or gloss or shine and also it depends on the brand. Most of my lipsticks just rub off when I eat but my matte lipstick can last around 8 hours I'd say

Mine last for about 8 hours

My MAC matte lipsticks last a good 8 hours and my Lorac lipstick (which has more of a satiny finish) can last about 4-5 before it starts to fade in the inner parts of my lips.

Until I eat. I typically wipe it off then reapply after.

Depends on a lipstick. My signature lipstick from Almay in plum, lasts be for about good 4 hours. That is eating and drinking.

KVD liquid does not come off until I take it off. Mac lipsticks lasts about 8 hours like Alexis said. Urban decay revolution lasted about 12 hours with lipliner which surprised me...a lot. But KVD is my favorite hands down.

Mine never last long, I rub my lips together and I just can't stop it, so that shortens the life of my lipstick - I tend to prefer a lipgloss, they last longer for me!

I wish I can give an honest answer but I can't because I'm one of THOOOSE people who are always licking their lips or messing with them lol. I eat a lot too and am always drinking water hahaha. I wouldn't doubt that I have a few that could last me from when I apply to when I take it off though, because those things are hard to take off even when I do it willingly lol.

For me personally, drugstore lipsticks can last up to 3 hours and high end lipsticks can last up to 6 hours. For every lipstick I wear, I put some translucent powder through a 1-ply tissue to mattify and set it. Lip balms and glosses dong last as long, but they're easier to apply.

I swear by my Covergirl outlast it lasts for hours unless I eat something oily. Revlon colorstay overtime is even better in that it barely comes off when I drink/eat or even try to remove it after the day 😱. My kat Von d liquid comes off easier than I'd like so I barely wear it, or when I do I'm constantly checking it. Smashbox be legendary liquid lacquer eventually turns from a gloss to a stain and stays for a good few hours. Definitely a lot longer than two hours. I've still been having trouble with Too Faced Melted, it doesn't stay at all or dry. Maybe mines junkie though.

Mine lasts until I eat or meet my boyfriend lol. If I don't do any of those it can last like 6 hours. I only use clinique chubby sticks or those Tarte lipsurgence chubby sticks with gloss.

I would say I'd be lucky if I got 15 minutes out of any lipstick and I've tried it all, liner, powder, sealer, etc... It just doesn't work for me.

I usually wear mine all day with minimal touch ups. I use chapstick, then fill in my lips with liner then lipstick. I drink out of straws and don't really bite into things (I call it the lipstick diet!). it does depend on the brand and formula though. make up for ever aqua lips is my favorite in terms of long lasting. that stuff has some crazy staying power. lime crime velvetines are second along with dose of color. Mac mattes are pretty long lasting as well.

For me, it depends on the brand of lipstick, whether it's matte or glossy, etc.

Matte products tend to last awhile on my lips (some through eating and drinking, others not so much) whereas the glossier items can wear off much faster.

For me its dependent on the formula. Satin and matte finishes that are ingredient heavy on moisturizers last me about 5 hours. Anything with a shimmer...I'm lucky if I skate by with 4 hours and that means no eating. Lip stains...those suckers are still around for day two.lol.
