I actually think it look just fine. You haven't seen frizzy till you see mine in all its glory after a week of running around and not washing it. My hair looks like yours in the pic after I flat iron. Once you address the frizz then everything else will cancel itself out. You need to reach for a deep conditioning mask and use it once a week. And invest in a good shampoo and regular conditioner. If you are using heat tools...give them a break for a few weeks so your hair can soak in all the nutrients from a deep conditioner. Another thing to consider...thick, long hair has a hard time holding onto a curl...when I used to wear my hair straight it would lose a curl within an hour...no matter what I used. I found that if I took of some length (not a whole lot) and cut in layers then my hair held curls better (at least lasted several hours versus a sorry one hour). Just something to think about.

I agree with Shelley- I think your hair looks beautiful like that! But, if you are looking for some other styles, you can try a side braid. I have thick hair and side braids seem to work for me! :)
