What are the best tanning lotions to use before tanning in a bed? And what's the best moisturizer to use afterwards?

If you are tanning in a bed it is best to buy something sold by the salon itself. Never buy a tanning oil or a lotion from the drug store. Most tanning salons won't even allow drugstore lotions in their beds because they erode the acrylic (imagine what they do to your skin, yikes!) Personally, my favorite brand overall is devoted creations. They have many different lotions and I don't know your skin type of budget so I can help you specifically but any properly trained staff member at a tanning salon should be able to help you. The weakest lotion you could get would be a maximizer which contains tyrosine in it to stimulate your melanin and allow your body to tan faster. Naturally your skin deflects 70% of UV Rays, more than that if your skin is dryer so you're wasting 70+% of your minutes! Definitely don't skimp out on lotion! Aside from maximizers you can move up to different intensities of bronzers. These also contain tyrosine, but also add colour as you tan to make you tan darker and faster than you normally would. Or you could get a BB complex bronzer which instantly oxidizes brown once outside the bottle. Great for quick color! Many lotions come with different little quirks as well such as anti fading, firming and skin relieving properties so I definitely recommend looking over your salons selection with a PROPERLY TRAINED technician! Sorry if this was all over the place, it's way past my bed time hahaha.

And feel free to ask any questions you may have
