Any recommendations for Limecrime lipsticks/velvetines/glosses. I am buying the eye shadow primer and thought I'd add a lippie while I'm at it. I'm in luurve with the unicorn packaging. My inner 12 YO strikes again...

Hmmm well I currently own the Velvetines in Suedeberry, Red Velvet, Wicked and Black Velvet; I recently placed an order for Cashmere, Pansy and Salem which should be here soon. Personally, my favorite shade is Wicked as of right now. It's such a pretty dark red shade, I can't get enough of it! Their Carousel glosses are really pretty as well, though I don't own any, I've seen a ton of pictures and read about 4000 reviews of them to see if I want them. In addition, you may want to check out their glitters, if that interests you, they're all absolutely beautiful.

I was hoping you'd see this! I knew you'd have tried them. Wicked is sold out (the Limecrime tragedy) and I like the look of Cashmere, cause I'm a mauve fan. Wondering about the lip feel of the velvetines. They look like they'd be horribly drying.
I have the fear of glitter. Remembering the old Manic Panic days of getting glitter in my eye at a show. Also 45 Years old and glitter might not be so good, stilll that green one tho...

They're actually not horribly drying, I do use a lip balm with them but they last forever. Oh man, I understand about glitter, I have a love of it but it's not for everyone :) Cashmere looks incredibly pretty, though, so I'd recommend that if it has really caught your eye.

I love limecrime velvetines! I own cashmere and it's a really pretty shade I'm sorry it's sold out though :( I also really like salem it's a gorgeous chocolate brown color if you are into that :)

I own most of the velvetines, many of the lipsticks, and 2 of The lip glosses so I guess that makes me a big fan of the brand lol. For the velvetines I own all of them except Salem, Pink Velvet, and Suedeberry. My fave is red velvet, cashmere and utopia. I really like Cashmere because I feel like it can be so easily manipulated with different colored lip pencils or even laying other lipsticks on top of it. For the lipsticks, I love Babette and coquette to use in the center of my lips to create an ombré look. I also love love love retrofuturist and poisonberry. The formula and opacity of the lipsticks is absolutely amazing... Long lasting, moisturizing, feels wonderful on the lips. Finally, my fave carousel gloss is Cherry On Top. This is by far the most unique color red I've ever worn. It's a brilliant shade with so many dimensions. I have pics in it but they pics don't do it justice.

Thanks Mallory. I was also wondering about the lip feel of the lipstick as well so that is very helpful. If I admit it, in my heart of hearts I just love traditional lipsticks more than liquids, glosses, etc. I had my eye on Babette. I want to try again to wear soft pinks. I love them, but I feel like they wash me out or look chalky at times.

I just ordered Wicked and Red Velvet about a week and a half ago! Just a heads up, "3-7 day shipping" (for the United States, which is where I'm from) is a bunch of bull crap. I ordered mine on January 10th, and they still haven't arrived. The tracking data says it's coming on the 24th.14 days. Ok sorry just felt that might be some useful information...regardless of that and the controversy that surrounds them, they still have pretty freaking great products. I just hope your shipping experience isn't as lengthy as mine!

I like that these aren't drying like the stila ones. (eventho I still love stila, just don't wear it as often).
I only have one LC lipstick in airborne unicorn.. :)
