Yea, for the bottom of the eye, it's pretty self explanatory, I suggest a good kohl liner, simply because it stays best on the water line in my opinion. For the top it's best to keep your arm extremely still, if you use an angled brush with gel liner, it'd probably be easiest since you're just starting out. Tape works for me though, as well as pictorials. YouTube videos is what'd I'd go to for most things but you can't really see what their doing because their hand is in the way.

I find it easier to use a hand held or tabletop mirror with the magnifying side!
