So I've read all the reviews and the "how-to's" on the RCMA Foundations and I think I'm finally going to cave and buy it, but I'm not sure what shade I should get.

I'm sure I'm either Porcelain or Ivory, but I haven't been able to find any swatches on pale skin so I'm not sure which one would suit me. I'm usually the palest shade in most foundation lines (or I won't be able to use that line because even the palest shade is too dark). However, I know that Porcelain is supposed to be super mega pale so I wasn't sure if Ivory would be better. I'm NW10-15 in MAC, shade 15 in MUFE Mat Velvet +, and I generally wear 0.5 in Urban Decay's Naked Skin Foundation but I have to use a pale concealer to even it out because it's just a tad too dark.

So yeah, sorry I wrote so much, but I really don't want to order the wrong shade! Can any of you ladies help me out?

The RCMA website actually gives out samples if you're unsure about which color you are!

Just ask Jacqueline H on her page! I know she uses it.

Ivory is the palest one in the palette. Porcelain has a bit pink to it. 😊

Thank you so much Jacqueline! Yes, I've read a lot about the learning curve and I have actually read multiple articles and watched videos on application. I'm not planning on using this everyday, more so just to experiment and possibly as stage makeup since I'm very active in the theatre and my Ben Nye foundation is suuuuuper pink on me at the moment. It's only $18, so it's not too much of an investment. I'm willing to take the risk, if I'm going to pay for shipping and wait for it to come I might as well buy the full size. Thanks for the suggestion though, and for all your advice! It's been very helpful. :)

I have the five series palette in light/neutral. I'm pretty pale and I'm the fourth darkest shade in that palette. There are three lighter! And the lightest one looks almost like white on me. I'd recommend the five series because it give you plenty of options to experiment with and get your best match. It will also allow for shade differences throughout the year. I love the RCMA foundation but it definitely has a learning curve. I suggest applying it with your fingers at first and then blending it with a damp sponge. If you are familiar with theatrical makeup, this should be pretty familiar to you already.
