I want BIG curls!

Every Time I curl my hair with a curling wand, my curls end up tight and small (even when I curl really big pieces). How can I get big loose curls that help show off the length of my hair?

I have a 3.5 inch curling iron that gives really large, loose curls! It's by Hot Tools, but I would imagine most lines carry similar items.

You brush them out with your hands or with a wide tooth combb.

My big curls NEVER stay put. By the time I'm finished curling the right side, the left side has already fallen flat haha.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think it depends on the barrel size of your curl wand not necessarily the amount of hair you curl at a time
