I read that Shea Moisture's African Black soap worked well not only for clearing up/ preventing breakouts by using it as a cleanser, but that it also was good for cleaning makeup brushes as well. I cleaned my brushes last night and wow. They were clean so fast and throughly, and best of all my beauty blender (which I assumed would've stayed slightly makeup stained forever) became bright pink once again in mere seconds! I had to spread the word!
You can get the soap at walgreens, target, ulta, etc:)

Hm never heard of it for cleaning makeup brushes. I used it for a little while as a cleanser but it was too harsh on my skin ): cool tip though.
