I recently used UD Naked skin foundation in Shade 1 and while I liked the lightweight formula I am interested in finding something with more coverage and longer lasting.
My face is a combination of dry and oily. Dry between my eyebrows and oily around my nose and on my forehead. (Any suggestions on the dry patch between eyebrows would be appreciated as well :smileyhappy: ) Should I use a b.b. cream or primer underneath?
I am also interested in knowing what I should use for a concealer, I have never used one but have bags under my eyes like I am sleep deprived, and it always shows through the foundations I use.
Any suggestions on a product? I would go to a Sephora location or dilliards to ask someone there but I live a few hours from the nearest one so I hoping I can get help on here! Thanks in advance for any replies!!

Estée Lauder double wear is amazing...it's medium to full coverage. It's great for combo/oily skin

I agree with Vanessa on the Estée Lauder! It is my holy grail foundation!!

I will definitely look at both of those! Do either of you use it? Do you have to use a setting powder over it? Or do you just use the foundation?

I have combo skin and use shade 1 as well, though it's actually too dark and I have to get artsy to make it work. I recently got a sample of Lancome's Teint Miracle in Ivore 1N and it's very similar in color, a bit thinner and a little higher in coverage than UD (though still not full coverage). Pretty easy to apply and doesn't emphasize my mustache as much. I really liked it but it wasn't what I was looking for. I don't have any decent stores by either, I totally feel for you.

I love UD's formula but for some reason no matter what I do it makes the hairs on my upper lip look darker. They're not even noticeable bare-faced lol.

I use the Estée Lauder and honestly I don't always just cuz I forget to set it but I usually do put some on my nose. That's where I get the most oily.

Double wear 100% best foundation I've ever used and I've used a lot. I have a Lil dryness and dehydration and I tried the KVD lock it and it was horrible it was so cakey and felt like a mask and I love full coverage but it clung to dry patches and seemed very flat to me I didn't like the finish. I've only returned 2 foundations because usually I'll give it away or find a use for it but that was one I returned.

My skin is similar to yours. I've been using KVD Lock-It. It might be more coverage than what you need, and it's matte, so try a sample before buying. The trick to making it not look cakey is combining a serum with your primer. I also like L'Oreal True Match. It has a broad shade range, buildable coverage, and it stays on for a long time. Unfortunately, Estee Lauder Double Wear doesn't come in shades for fair skin, judging by swatches found on Google.

Tobe honest I was not allowed to use makeup until I turned 18, and I'm now 22 and don't know all the ends and outs of makeup and what ll I need to use. Contouring and highlighting! Geez I am not sure if I will ever be able to do that. lol
So any tips, tricks, ect would be great.
Changed my picture to a colored one, was playing with colors. Any advice on a blush and lip color? Thanks!
