The Body Shop sells a hand cream made of almonds, it is very good. Wear gloves after applying the cream and avoid extreme water temperature while washing your hands (hot/cold)

Also, in the winter months try to wear gloves or mittens as much as you can outside. I found that helped me with my dry skin!

In addition, if you want to do an intensive repair quick, before bed you can slather on a thick cream or even an oil and put on gloves so it doesn't smear all over your bed. Makes a huge difference by morning.

Sephora brand makes an amazing hand cream called Hand Candy, honestly I'm not sure if they even sell it anymore but it was the only hand cream that moisturized without feeling greasy plus it smells amazing.

Cocoa butter! This works wonders for me and I got a huge bottle for only a couple dollars at the drug store. Also, after washing your hands or showering, pat your body and hands dry, don't rub! Patting will retain a little bit of the mouisture of the water when you apply your lotion.
