I got my nose pierced right before Christmas and I have a nose screw in currently.
I really want to change it into a hoop though
I can take my nose stud out, but any tips on how to put a hoop in??

Depends on the hoop really, I've had two kinds of hoops. One that I had to pull apart and bend back in, and another that just goes in backwards with a tiny gap. Just be careful with it, nose piercings do heal quite quickly when they're only a few months old so just really have a game plan haha :)

Yeah it really depends on the kind. I prefer the ones that are 3/4 of a circle rather than a full hoop. I would especially recommend it since your piercing is fairly new, you won't risk the hole closing around the hoop opening (happened to me, it was awful and extremely painful to remove) OR get a CBR but I would recommend having a piercer insert it, it's difficult to maneuver the ball into the socket when it's such a small gauge.

I'd have a professional put the hoop in for you.
