Can You Get A Nose Screw In Your Initial Piercing?

I'm getting my nose pierced tomorrow, and was curious as to whether they could put a nose screw in for my initial piercing, as I wouldn't want a hoop to start with. thank you :)

They definitely can you just have to be a little more careful with it. Not many piercers have them, but ask if they have an internally threaded stud. It's a LOT easier to clean than a screw, and it won't fall out or get caught on anything.

I actually got a screw when I first got my nose pierced! Kailey, that sounds great, I've never heard of it!
Just ask, I'm sure that they can accommodate your requests if they can. :)

I got a screw when I got my nose pierced without asking. I hated it though lol, once you take it out, it's impossible to get back in.

It's best to have the screw first because I ring can cause extra trauma.

Also, screws are hard to work with at first but with practice it becomes super easy to do.
