So, I have been setting my highlight with my Smashbox Contour Palettes highlighting shade. It's luminous, but not shimmery, and a pale yellow shade. I'm running low, and would just like to know what you ladies use. Was thinking of purchasing the Hourglass Ambient Light powder but don't know if it would be TOO highlighty. Would love some feedback.

I like using the Ben Nye banana powder to set my highlight.

Hourglass is what I use and it's so wonderful! To me it smooths out my highlight giving it a glowy look versus glittery. Sometimes I use it all over!

I love the Shiseido Luminizing satin face color in Soft Beam Gold for this purpose (the shade High Beam white is good for fair skin tones). It's not shimmery, just luminous. I have a picture on my profile called Glow where you can see how it looks. :)

The hourglass palette isn't shimmery. it literally just gives a glow. I have the palette. incandescent light and dim light have the tiniest little sparkles in it, you really don't notice it at all. radiant light has no shimmer and is a satin finish. I really like it for setting my concealer and sometimes use it on my whole face because it gives off a soft dewy glow, nothing too highlighty. you should check it out and swatch them, they really are beautiful

I use the CoverFX illuminating setting powder in light. It is not shimmery AT ALL. It just brightens under your eyes and makes you look awake.
