i went to makeup school and i say the term very loosely cause i was basically only taught how to social network and get models!>.<
anyways i want to know how people learn to match foundation colors! im still very unsure about it and i feel like i dont know what to look for when matching undertones /: how do you all find color matches?
If you look at a person's arm is their veins seem blue, they will most likely have a red/cool undertone. If their veins look more green they have a warm/yellow undertone. Now that you know the undertone, take the foundation that looks the closest to them (or you) with the corresponding undertone. Now take one shade lighter than the one you chose and one shade darker. This way you can really see which foundation will be best. Do not use the back of your/their hand. Match it to their jawline instead. I hope some of this helps.
