So I've got my lips filled a couple of times now, and this time my lips seems a bit uneven. I'm massaging it as usual, but I wonder, can I actually drag the filler around in my lips to get it even? I tried slightly to do it, but it hurts a bit so I don't wanna do it unless it's actually going to work. I'll attach a photo.

What you are probably experiencing is some minor swelling and as far as moving it around...its best done by the doctor who performed the injection.

Thanks for the answer. The swelling is almost all gone, but still the right side is slightly higher. My doctor lives a two hour ride away so I just hoped I could do something myself.

If the pain becomes unbearable or you experience some abnormal symptoms I highly advise seeking medical treatment sooner rather than later.

Don't...as tempting as it is...don't try to do it yourself. I would call the doc and see if he can refer you to someone locally to take a look at it.

I've been wanting to get my lips filled. What are your experiences? What would be the youngest age to get them?

I actually did massage them "into place" and now they look fine :)
Kerri: be 100% sure that the doctor performing the job is licensed. Oh my god, I've done so much to my lips at this point. I used a doctor who wasn't licensed, and I got rock hard lumps all over my lip. With no refund ($400) I went to another doctor, and she gave me hyaluronic acid injections (I believe that's what it's called), cleaned up the last persons mess, and then filled my lips again after a month with rest. As soon as I found a "real" doctor, I couldn't be more happy. And the procedure doesn't hurt that much. But now, after paying around $1100... Not sure if it was worth it.  😂🔫
