So recently I've really been wanting to get my eyebrows threaded. Waxing makes me break out and I've heard that getting them threaded is more accurate? I found a salon in my area that supposedly specializes in eyebrow threading called 'BrowsRus'. Has anybody tried that salon? what did you think?

Well I haven't tried that specific salon, it really depends on how good the person is who's doing your brows. I get mine threaded and I love it! I have very thick eyebrows and I honestly find that it barely hurts to have them threaded. If it hurts then the person must not be doing it right :p They make them look very natural and as you said more accurate. I find I sometimes get a couple bumps around my brows the next day but it goes away quickly. I apply pure aloe vera gel on them after getting them threaded which stops the redness.

I haven't been there, but I've been getting my brows threaded for years. My advice would be to look up the place and all its reviews (on google or yelp.. make sure to read the filtered ones on the bottom too), and to call the salon if you have questions. You might want to ask if the threader wears gloves (they should), and what their qualifications are. Basically you want to find someone with many years of experience and a place with hygienic practices. Threading is a better choice for people with sensitive skin, especially those who can't wax because of medications such as retin-a. It also gives a more natural result. Happy threading! :)

I always trust threading over waxing. I prefer to go into a threading salon and looking at the technicians brows. I kinda judge by that.
