How to co-wash hair?

I tryed to co-wash my hair, but I don't know if I was doing it the right way.
Do you wash your hair once a week w/shampoo? What do you use to wash it?
Do you co-wash every day or every other day?
Is Aussie conditioner good to co-wash?

I use herbal essence rose shampoo and conditioner.. I love it and it's wonderful ❤️❤️❤️

Co-wash is kind of like washing your hair with conditioner before actually washing your hair. if that makes sense lol it's kind of odd.
think of it as a "pre-treatment" before washing your hair with shampoo.
