I finally got my hands on the Loreal true match foundation, after months of searching for a "bargain" I got 10$ off, it's usually 30$ and I got it for 20$ today haha, woohoo! So my question is, how do I make the most of this foundation? What are the best ways to apply it? Super glad I picked it up, the colour match is perfect, so I'm wanting it to look as best as it can.

Wow 20$ o; I can get it for 5$ with coupons lol I apply it with a sponge (: Sometimes a flat top brush.

Lol girls, 20$ is steep for me, usually 10$ is my tops for drugstore foundations but I've been so keen to give this a go that 10$ off was great haha!
I was hoping a sponge would suffice, I use my real techniques miracle sponge.
@ Nerissa, I spent a good 20 minutes trying to determine which undertone to go with so I ended up getting N1 cause the cool shades looked a bit dark compared to the warm shades which was weird haha :)

I do the same as Jacqueline, only I use my fingers lol. I got mine for $10.95 at Wal-Mart. It was $11 something with tax. It sucks that it costs so much there!

Jacqueline, I was shocked when I started looking into it aswell. I've only tried one mac product due to how expensive it is here, the studio fix fluid was 50-60$ if I remember correctly.

Gosh Shaye I feel your pain with expensive drugstore makeup - in Denmark the true match is also 25 USD! And the absolute cheapest drugstore foundation we can get is 12-15 USD!
But I hope you like it :) Its looks awesome and the reviews are always really good!

I couldn't help myself, I took my other makeup off and tried it.. I'm so impatient lol! But the colour match and selection is much better then my previous foundation (Rimmel 25 hour stay liquid foundation) it's good to finally have the right colour match haha! I can't tell exactly how much I like it as of yet because I'm trying it without powder and I generally 100% of the time set my makeup with a powder but I'm trying to break out of that habit as I don't think I need it, just don't like waiting for my makeup to set I suppose haha! As for the formula, it's nice with my real techniques sponge, so far so good! I'll be trying it again tomorrow when the lighting is more accurate but I'm liking it!

Also, that's insane it's so much over there, as I repeat after everyone else!! I like that foundation for the colder months, not so much the warmer months so let me know how it works for you being that it's summer over there, right?

It looks so nice on you Shaye, it is a really nice foundation to have.I remember when L'Oréal use to sell little mini card samples of at least 5 foundations for a $1 but that was years ago, they should bring that back it was handy and help many find what shade they were. :)

@ Renay, thanks so much girl! I don't know how I feel about showing my freckles through my makeup yet but I'm sure it'll grow on me haha!
And yes it's summer here, I shall let you know a bit later how it lasts, etc :p

Okay, so I went out with it on yesterday, usually I have this terrible foundation line that happens on my forehead when it's super hot outside but this foundation stayed on, I didn't think it was going to but there wasn't any fading so that's good! I don't actually have any cons except for maybe the coverage but I'm still getting used to that. :) overall stays fairly well, and it's been Hot here lately.
