Jocelyn, I got a "Kiss acrylic kit" from Wal-Mart for $15. It includes everything you need and instructions, I've had mine of for about a week and a half now. They're great!

I buy all my supplies mainly from eBay actually. I bought a big set for around $70/80 that included UV lamp, different sets/colours/styles of nail tips, loads of acrylic colour and glue, brushes ect. It's great, my key guide is YouTube though! Search anything about shape/style/design and your sure to find a tutorial.. For top ups I do go to sallys.
