Is a contour palette really worth it?

I have super fair skin (NW15/NW20 for reference) so I would assume I could only use the two lightest colors in a contour palette and would never touch the other four colors.
I had my eye on the Anastasia contour palette for a while, but now everyone recommends the Kat Von D palette instead.
I just don't want to drop 46$ on a palette that only has two colors I'll use. What do you think? Is it really worth it? And if it is, which palette do you recommend?

Well if you're already saying that you are only going to use two colours so I'd say no...? I personally use all three highlights in my Kat Von d pallete, as levitation and lucid are light bough for me to use as highlights and the yellow tone who's name I can't remember is perfect for the under eyes with its yellow undertones. I also use 2/3 of the contours depending on how dramatic I'd like to go (the two darkest) and I probably could use the lighter one but I'm not very much into subtle contour haha. When people say no contour palletes are worth the money I roll my eyes, it's up to you to evaluate what you will personally use and if that is worth it to you

Is it worth it? That's very dependent on the person of course but if your concern is your skin tone and not being able to use each color I'd swatch each shade and make that call for yourself. I have friends who find ways to religiously use every color in their palette but I know for a lot of people some colors in those palettes don't work on them. Kvd or Abh? Definitely kat von d, better pigmentation, quality and colors.. the ABH is far too warm toned even though the kvd could be a little better in that department as well. If you don't want to waste your money on a palette of colors you may not use I suggest the Kevyn aucoin sculpting powder it works for all skin tones and mimics a shadow better than any colors in those palettes. He also has a palette with highlighting shades if you're looking for a few more options

I know the Too Faced Cocoa contour is geared towards paler girls. If you're not going to use all of the colors, you're not really getting your full use of your money. There's also the Nyx contour palette- it's a lot like the Anastasia one but it's a lot cheaper

If you want a cheaper option but with a wider range of color options that I recommend checking out RCMA on beautylish. The 5 part series palette are great concealers/contouring palettes. They also have a a highlighting/ contouring palette as well and it is much cheaper!

I think you'd like the lorac pro contour kit, it's geared towards fair skin. I'm pretty fair and get use out of everything in the palette
