About 2 months ago I was attacked by a dog. Thankfully I was only wounded (deep puncture wounds) on my shin and hands. My fingers had smaller holes so they have healed in flat "strawberry" like scars but the biggest wound on my leg seems to haven't healed at all. There is still a big scar that is purple and no hair grows out of it. If there is anyway to make this scar less noticeable please let me know.

Have you went to a doctor? 😕

I agree you should see a doctor because the dog may have passed nasty bacteria

My dad is a surgeon and we discussed the wound and he helped me with the treatment of it.

Try mederma, it takes a while to work but it will eventually =) If it's truly bad and you have the means, lasering will also fix it for you but it is extremely expensive.

Bio oil works well, but it takes about 3 months to see results. Although, you should talk to a doctor to get more treatment options!

My surgeon recommended me this one, its a little pricey, but it works beautifully.

I agree with mederma or even neosporin would help.

I would mix neosporin and plain vaseline

I have a scar from a minor foot surgery. It has diminished, although not gone completely away. I used vitamin E. Also mederma.
