Mederma Stretch Mark Cream?

I recently had a baby and I was not one of the luckies that didn't get stretch marks. I've been on the search for stuff to lighten my stretch marks and I've had so many people recommend mederma stretch mark cream!
anyone had experience with mederma?
when would be the best time to put the cream on?
after showering?
before bed?

I haven't used that one but I used the Palmers cocoa butter one for pregnancy stretch marks even though I wasn't pregnant lol. I really like it it really improved my stretch marks. I always apply after my shower apparently your skin absorbs the most after its been wet.
