Hi ladies! This is a relatively disappointing moment for me, since almost all of you know about my intense love for Kat Von D. Yesterday, I took it upon myself to use my Kat Von D Ink Liner in Nietzsche for the first time. It's a really beautiful, super pale blue that I adore. The color is amazing, it's light enough to really make my eyes stand out. I seriously wish I had taken a photo. I'm so sorry I didn't!
However, it was SO impossible to apply. It didn't apply opaque, even with layers, and really didn't give me the eyeliner shape that I wanted, either. I went over the line several times, and it honestly didn't work. Sometimes, it would go opaque and then something would happen and it would stop. I'm not sure if I was randomly changing the angle (this is no excuse) or if it was just something in the packaging that was messed up...either way, it was a total application disaster.
This is SO disappointing to me, since I have this same liner in Nerdrum and I ADORE it. Nerdrum is beautifully pigmented and easy to apply, giving smooth and crisp lines. I desperately wanted Nietzsche to do the same thing, and it definitely did not. I really like the formula of this liner, so I'm not sure if the formula got screwed up in the color or if I just got a dud.
Just wanted to give you ladies a heads up, and let you know that now I'm looking for an equivalently colored liner!

I think I'll probably try to return it when I come back, we'll see though since I've had it since April. It's kind of a disaster because you're right, it's fine on my hand but as soon as I take it to my lids it's a whole other ballgame and it decides to hate me.

That stinks! The color is so beautiful. I've been looking at these for awhile, but never bought any because I couldn't decide what color to try first. Guess this color is scratched from the list! Thanks for the review :)

I have yet to find anything close to that color that actually shows up as good as I've seen on ads lol it sucks. Hopefully you could exchange it for something else.

Hannah, Nerdrum is so pretty. I'm torn between that color and Dali. Lately, I've been obsessed with blues. Might save up and splurge on both :)
