Real techniques and Barbara Hoffman have Nice ones, but Zoeva are the best apparently (I haven't tried them but the girls here seems to love that brand :p)

The most expensive brushes I've tried are Wayne Goss. Incredibly soft and well made. I love them like they're my children lol. His fan brush is incredible. I use it for blush, bronzer, and highlighting. Bdellium makes great eye brushes. I don't have any face brushes from them, but their 787 is amazing for blending out eyeshadow.
Laura mentioned Zoeva above and I love them as well. You can get a complete set for a reasonable price.
Since you're open to anything, Miss Jackie is the brush master. I've been dreaming of Hakuhodo. My dream brushes 😍😍

If you can get your hand on real techniques "nics pics" do it! I think j it was limited edition but they might have some on Amazon or unused ok eBay. So worth it
