I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use foundations with a dewy finish on oily skin, especially if your skin is as oily as mine...do you just like the dewy look or do you just want a foundation oily skin friendly but not extremely matte (more skin like)?

A foundation that's not completely matte would work. I love the dewy look.

I would suggest you try RCMA foundation. I've had my eye on it for awhile and I've heard nothing but good things about it. Another few products that were recommended to me to use with this foundation were an alcohol free toner, a non silicone based moisturizer, Nuturing Forces Blot Offensive anti-shine primer, RCMA no color powder, and Ben Nye's final seal. I was recommended these by Jacqueline H. here on BL, and I also researched and found a lot of good reviews. If you would like, I could post some screenshots of how she advised me to put the products on. :)
