Mac foundations tend to not agree with a lot of people's skin- I personally love the Matchmaster foundation and the powder foundations.
As for HG products- painterly paint pot. The brow fluid line. Extra dimensional shadows. I have a bunch of their lipsticks that I love but you can also get similar or better ones elsewhere lol

What's your skin type for foundation? I've never had issues with mac foundations breaking me out but then again I've never had more than one pimple at a time my entire life and that one is usually during my menstrual cycle but I also have friends with acne prone skin & have no issues with their foundations, you just have to choose one best suited for your skin type and try a sample.

Honestly, I would try another brand. My skin is pretty normal but I always react to mac foundation no matter what. And there are some amazing foundations out there. My hg products from mac are the prolongwear concealer, eyeliner pencil, lipglasses and matte lipsticks

I LOVE the full coverage foundation and have oily skin.
I'm not at all acne-prone.
I hardly ever get any pimples but like how fuller coverage stuff looks.
I find about half oF MACs foundations are fairly good for oily skin like the pro longwear, studio fix, studio fix fluid.
The full coverage looks great in person and when I set it with the powder puff it doesn't budge.
I only need a small amount. I remember one time I slept over at my boyfriends place and had that foundation on and fell asleep(horrible, I know) but it looked great in the morning
