I have tried everything with my skin to clear it up.. EVERYTHING! And nothing works. I'm thinking about about trying proactiv. I used it a few years ago when I was a teenager but I heard it wasn't good for your skin so I stopped. But I'm desperate and want clear skin 😭😭😭

I don't recommend using proactiv. Messed up my skin soo bad. If nothing is working, it's time to visit a dermatologist! They can really help clear up your skin!

Proactive burned and irritated my skin, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I would suggest going to a dermatologist instead.

Definitely not. It'll clear up your acne but it essentially makes your skin addicted to the product. Skip one wash and it all comes back. Not to mention it's extremely irritating when you do wash.

Honestly it all depends on your skin.
my sister use to use it and that's the only thing that cleared up ALL her acne.
Her acne didn't come back like everyone says and it didn't burn her skin.
It 100% depends on your skin.

I agree with any one who says proactive is bad because I've tried it and it burned my skin, had a massive infection when I stopped using it and it also made my face sensitive

Well I use to use it for like two years and it worked wonderfully. then I just decided to stop because I like trying new things. depends on your skin.

It never cleared my acne completely and it made my skin very dry and irritated, I used it for almost a year just because it did help more than other things, birth control pills and Clinique's acne line cleared my face.

Proactive is the only things that clears me up. If you've tried everything else, I say go for it. Proactive really isn't that pricey,.. And if it doesn't work there are always people out there who want it and would take it off your hands

I used to (at the start of the year) have super bad acne so I txted my doc about it and sent him photos, after a couple of appointments he put me on roaccutane (to start with I used anti biotics I dunno what they were tho can't remember)
if you use medicine your doc/ derm prescripts to you it takes a while but the results are amazing. my acne is going to be gone, so are my scars by the end of the year :)

There are a lot of mixed reviews out there on the proactive system. For some it was a horrible experience and for others it cleared their acne and it didn't come backs it depends on your skin in all honesty. I don't think anyone really thinks about that. All these acne products really come down to the type of skin you have and what it tolerates best. I would at least call your dermatologist office and ask if they think it's worth a shot.if they know your skin they should be able to tell you a professional opinion about whether the product may or may not work for you.
