I know covering pimples and blemishes with makeup does not help them go away, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Do you guys have any foundation/concealer ect application tips that will best cover blemishes?

Thank you Qwaserght. Maybe it's just my concealer because when I pat it in with my finger, even super gently, it all rubs away

I use a green color-correcter to get rid of redness

Try a green concealer (I like physicians formula) and then cover with foundation or a flesh tone concealer. Also, be sure you're only concealing the blemish and not the skin around it, as that can actually make the blemish stand out more.

Make sure the concealer isn't too light for your skin tone or it'll make it stand out more.

The only way to fully cover acne or discoloration is by using a color corrector. If you have lighter skin you should use a green concealer or primer and then use your finger to pat on a concealer that matches your skin almost perfectly. A lighter color will highlight your blemish and will make it stand out, and a darer color will be noticeable since your skin will be darker in some spots.

If you have redish blemishes I would use either a green tinted primer or green concealer (I prefer concealer) it is vital to get the exact color of the rest of your face (if its lighter than its getting highlighted which is the opposite to covering and if its darker than you'll have dark spots)

I can't remember the name exactly of my concealer but I use a beauty blender to blend in mine and it works awesome!!
