I actually have that ,but before it looked like that it was some sort of blackhead. I'm not exactly sure how to identify a blackhead...either way it was one..
Now I have an odd ,small bump that never goes away like the one you have.

I get those on my lips all the time, but not as big. But I just pop them, at the start it feels like it won't pop but if I keep squeezing it eventually does. I think it's just a blackhead that won't pop. That's what it looks like to me? Maybe try putting a really small needle in it to pop the skin then squeeze it? Make sure the needle is sterilised though!

Thank you, Taylah! I'm scared of putting needles in my face haha. I'll definitely try popping it again. It hurts really bad though when I try to pop it! Not the actual bump but the squeezing part.

That doesn't look like a blackhead to me at all. Is it painful? Hard feeling or soft? It's tough to tell from the picture but is it skin colored then white on the top? How long have you had it?

I use to be scared aswell! But when I have a blackhead or pimple that won't budge I just break the skin with a clean needle and squeeze it. And it doesn't even hurt!
But definitely just try squeezing it, because from the photo it really looks like a blackhead! It will hurt but once it pops eventually it'll feel so much better!

It's pretty hard. Like a teeeeeny marble. Yes, it's fairly white at the top. I've had it for over a year now.

Thank you so much, Taylah!

Oh and it's not painful at all, just annoying. @Sarah.

It's possible it's just a whitehead. A whitehead, unlike a blackhead, is a closed comedone. Theyre both filled with sebum but since a whitehead is a closed comedone and only has a microscopic opening, the air doesn't cause it to oxidize which is why it doesn't turn black. Since it is a CLOSED comedone (blackhead is an open comedone) it's not suggested to extract it. It's best to focus on your skincare routine to keep your skin healthy, clean and free of excess sebum. You may apply some tea tree oil to the whitehead twice a day. I can't 100% diagnosis it without seeing it in person and feeling it, knowing more information might help me more because there's a few other things it could possibly be

Thanks for being so specific, Sarah! What other info could I give you?

I agree with sarah or it could be a cyst.

I had the same thing on the side of my nose for a year! I finally understood that it was the oils from my sweat and glasses sliding down and creating the awful whitehead. I tried to pop it but it was at such an awkward place that it wasn't possible and even if I tried hard it didn't budge. I finally used a blackhead extractor on it and was able to get the guck out. It healed in a week and haven't seen it since.

I'll try my extractor again, Ramsha! Thank you!

It could be a keloid scar (a burst acne cyst). Built up scar tissue. I have one on my chest, it's been there since August of last year. You can't really do anything about it. Needles will make it bleed. The only thing that helped me was going to a derm and getting a cortisone shot, which I know you said that you couldn't do. Just try not to irritate it, do your best not to touch or poke at it, and it'll be fine until you do have a chance to go to a derm.

your welcome!

I don't think that's a keloid scar at all, I still believe it's just a whitehead but it could be a cyst as well. How is it now? Is it exactly the same?
Jul 4, 2015
Shanae J.
Yes, it's the same. I went a little crazy and now the skin around it hurts but the actual bump doesn't hurt.

If my husband lets me ill take a picture if his cyst its by his eye so that way you may be able to compare it to a cyst
