I recently had my hair dyed a rose gold/red/pink color. It's already faded out almost completely, so I'm planning on getting it colored again soon. I really want to do like a scarlet red color, however if it isn't going to last long or will fade quickly, I don't want to do it because I don't have the money to get it frequently redone.
So how is maintenance for this type of color? Any tips or information are greatly appreciated :)

Red hair dye fades really fast. It would be a quite easy color to achieve at home though if you are confident enough!

Maintenance of any red is a pain, but I must say that shade is stunning.

I agree with the others, if you are worried about upkeep and fading, then don't go for red! I've been doing red and redish tint colors for years now and they fade so fast! I think blonde would look best from looking at your pictures. I like this because you could add some reddish brown lowlights with the blonde.

Maintenance depends on how your hair tales coloring and what you do for hair routines. I have red hair a few shades darker than that and I have to retouch/recolor my hair every month. I wash my hair every 2-3 days and wash with cold water. I also mixed some dye into a deep conditioning treatment to help. If you wash your hair with sulfate shampoo and warm water, it'll strip the color quickly. As will heat usage. If you do all of those things, expect to touch it up every 2-6weeks. Reds a beautiful color to have, but it's the worst on maintenance

A healthy butter substitute , natural skin lotions , hair moisturizer great... The Coco Coconut Oil is truly a jack oil trading http://ow.ly/TBHpa.

Agh I see. Well I only wash my hair once a week, use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, and also do hair treatments. I just don't know anything about hair coloring so I would be terrified to do it at home lol.
And thank you Lisa :) I do love blonde, just wanted to switch it up for a while :)

Dry shampoo for when your hair get oily, wash your hair with cold water once or twice a week. Always cold water. Also pravana color care shampoo!! Then smell sucks but it helps the color stay. Also a lock in color spray 😊
