Not exactly 100% sure if this is in the right category. Sorry.

My eyes typically change colors and recently, I've been wondering is there science behind that? My mom says it depends on what you wear and the lighting, but isn't there more than just what you wear or the lighting?

I have been told that my eyes are blue, gray, and green.

Here are my eyes on different days and different lightings. No filters. What do you all think about the color of my eyes and if you know any science behind the changing eye color, please share (:

It's probably lighting, see when your skin appears tanner, you have darker shaded eyes, vise versa. Very beautiful eyes!

Thank you Nicole (: I love my eye color. Most of my friends have plain brown and it's pretty with their complexion, but I just love how different mine are from my friends (: Even my sister has blue eyes, but hers don't change colors like mine do. Very cool that we have similar colors (;

Ah, that's makes sense Victoria. I didn't notice that! That's cool. (: And thank you (:

Mine are similar, but not as light as yours, yours are beautiful! And I think Victoria and Hayley's thoughts make a lot of sense!

It's just lighting and what you wear. Blue eyes are lighter so they reflect more than other eye colors which is why you normally hear of blue eyes people saying that their eyes change color.

Ah, okay! Thanks Ashley (: I hear people with brown eyes say there eyes change color too haha

And wow! That makes lots of sense! Thanks Jacqueline (: My pupils are naturally bigger than most people's in regular lighting, but if I look at the sun or natural lighting from the sun they get brighter. My pupil covers practically my whole eye (as if they were dilated) in everyday lighting like around the house. Is that normal?

Oh haha! That's cool (: I don't think it's affected my vision much. I have stigmatism, but lots of people have that and don't have big pupils so I don't know! Guess if it becomes a concern in the later future, I can get it looked at (:

Your eyes are blue, and so pretty! I read that eyes tend to change color in the teenage years. Mine did, so I guess it just happens to a lot of people. I'm not sure about the science.
