I'm 14 and in 9th grade. It depends what you are looking for. CC cream stands for color corrector. It's not going to give you coverage, just even out your skin tone. BB cream stands for beauty balm. They have sheer-medium coverage. I personally like BB creams better. I use the Loreal anti-redness bb cream. It is light-medium coverage and gives me flawless skin. It will cover any and all redness. If you have light skin, this probably won't work well for you because once it's blended into the skin, it's kind of a tan color. I have dry skin btw so keep that in mind. What works for me may not work for you.

As for other makeup suggestions, there is a thread titled "makeup under $30" or something like that and I listed tons of suggestions! I'm not very great with hair, but I would ask Kitty or Hannah. 😊

What skin care line would you recommend for acne prone skin?

Mary Kay has amazing skin care lines! I use their botanicals line, but I know they have an Acne care set and I think it only costs $45, but it comes with multiple products! If you don't like the products, they let you trade them in or return them and get your money back! I highly recommend checking them out 😊

Plus, if you didn't want the whole set, you can purchase products individually.

I love the Korean brand BB creams! I have some Iope, Skin 79, and Etude House. As for a drugstore option, I love the Garnier one for oily skin. As for hair, I looooove putting my hair in a top knot but with no hair ties because they cause creases. I usually use a Japanese bobby pin because they stay in place better and don't tug on your hair. I wake up with a lot of volume and some nice waves. I love doing braided headbands because they're really fast or a slick back pony. I take a bit of hair from underneath and wrap it around the base and pin it for a more polished look. Other than that, I leave my hair down because it's pin straight. Have fun in eighth!

I like the rimmel bb creams
You'd want to use the matte one because of your oily skin

I prefer BB creams over CC creams. I'm also 13 and going into 8th grade, and I use BB cream. I personally love the Maybelline BB cream, because it gives me light coverage but it makes my skin look healthy and glowing. There are many great BB creams on the market, and I'm sure there are dozens of them that are designed for girls with oily skin, like you. I know Rimmel and L'Oreal make matte BB creams, and I've heard many great things about them, but I haven't been able to find them at my local drugstore yet. But I would recommend the Maybelline BB cream even if you do have oily skin because it looks stunning and its perfect for someone who is beginning to wear makeup.

Lilli I would say use a BB cream. I'm 14 and I use it. Its just love. You could try Maybelline's dream fresh BB cream. Keep the shade light. And as for hair you can do a side pony. Or a messy high pony. I did that and it looked cute. For mascara try rocket volume from Maybelline. And liner of Karaja. Lipshade of color studio. Or Maybelline. And some nude/baby pink shades from M.A.C. Hope I helped.
