Hi ladies! I am new to contouring and am wondering if any of you lovelies can suggest a beginner kit or product that I can start out with!

The Lorac countor kit is amazing. I wasn't a big fan of the Anastasia Beverly Hills one because I found them chalky, but the Lorac ones are really soft. I think cream contouring is pretty difficult, so that wouldn't be a suggestion of mine.

I highly suggest the Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette! It has amazing pigmentation, the pans are huge, and a little goes a long way so it'll take awhile before you hit pan. The shades blend so smoothly and easily. Personally I think the ABH palettes are too warm for contouring whole the contour shades in the Shade + Light are cool toned (one is more warm toned but you can easily use it as a bronzer) so they're perfect for contouring (:

Concealers or powders that are darker or lighter than your skin tone. Personally, I almost prefer that as a cheaper alternative.

I got the Sephora contouring one its powder and am using them but I didn't really like it I think the creamy 1 is way better I think.

I look like duo kits esp. for beginners. Its so much easier to just pick the correct shade for your skintone instead of getting a larger palette & hope one will work for you. Since you have a light skintone, I would suggest Makeup Forever Sculpting Kit, the original one in the rectangle compact. They have 4 choices, this is #1.

Also look like Marc Jacobs in DREAM (I believe thats the lightest one. They have 3 choices.
