I recently saw a video by Tati on YouTube. She showed how she bakes her face and she uses the Coty air spun powder on a damp beauty blender. Any thoughts on that product? And possibly baking my face?? Lol seems so weird typing that

Uh I love Tati!! And I saw that video as well - it looks great and she swears by that product, and as I understand it's a drugstore products! I think it's worth the try - I seen several YouTubers use the technique... Only thing it might be heavy but I guess you that just depends on how much you use!

I tried the IT cosmetics products today - The bye bye pores powder was great but seemed a bit dry under my eyes, I'm going to try it again tomorrow to see it if was users mistake!
I also used a tiny bit of the IT illuminazer and it's beautiful - I used just the tiniest amount under my eye to brighten it up and it definitely did but man you have to be careful with it it's definitely not finely enough milled for the under eye - on the rest of the face it was amazing!

Ashli, I'm NC 43.5 for reference and I use diffused light under my eyes and it's not pale on me at all. It's got luminosity so it's not just a pale yellow powder. It definitely creates a more awake rested look for me.

Oh @Sabrina I loooooove Tati so much and I just happen to have that powder in the shade she used in that video. So I may give it a shot even though I'm terrified as I have to work tonight and I want my makeup to be on point lol. After the weekend and all the Black Friday madness is over I'm going to stop by the big Sephora here in Austin and have a look see at the hourglass powders. Eeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkk

@Ealu thank you!! I'm sorry I'm like all over the place about these ambient powders but if I'm going to fork over almost fifty bucks for a powder I want it to be perfect. I hate goin back and returning things but I sure will to get the right one!! I wish I could afford to try them alllllll mua hahahaha

Ashli, Hourglass has a limited edition Holiday Palette that has both Dim and Diffused light, along with Iridescent light ( a subtle pink highlighter which I love), 2 blushes and a radiant bronzer. The sizes are smaller than individual pans but you get to try them all out.

I got mine from the Space NK store in Dublin, Ireland. But, I'm certain you can get it in stores there too. It's only out a few months now. I have it and I have to say I absolutely love it, the fact that it's all in the one palette and also that I get to try the 2 blushes, bronzer and highlighter. I have to say the bronzer in the palette is one of the best I have used. It leaves the softest finish, just gorgeous. I did read a lot of reviews where people were unhappy with the sizes but to be fair, I think it's very good value. There's no way I'm ever going to hit pan on any of them in the near future!
