You could wear two long braids back, or wear a high pony with braids on your crown. :)

I also had a sports day at my school a few weeks ago. I had my hair up in a high ponytail with one of those sporty headbands like underarmour or nike.

I would say to put your hair up in French braids because they keep your hair out of your face and are super gorgeous
