Coconut Oil Hair Mask?

I just bought a huge jar of coconut oil and I was wondering how much do you use (for hair mask) and how long should I leave it in? My hair is just normal (not oily or dry) and it is just past boob length.

Depends on the thickness of your hair. If you have think hair I suggest only using half a teaspoon and if you have thick hair I suggest a tea spoon. A little goes along way. As to how long you want to keep it in that's up to you. You can wash it in an hour or keep it over night

Thanks Landun (: My hair is in between thick and thin so I'll probably use a teaspoon since I do have kinda long hair!

I just use as much as it take to soak my hair completely, then I wrap it up in a bun, apply a plastic bag over the hair and then a towel over that to make it a little hot in there - I then let it sit for at least an hour and if I have the time I let it sit longer! When you wash it out it's a good idea to shampoo twice to make sure you got all the oil out!

Is the coconut oil organic and cold pressed?
