I've been taking it for about 10 months for the first time in my life and in the last two months I've been pretty depressed. I was just curious if any of you girls had a similar experience?

Yes it can. I went off the Pill, it made me a shell of myself. I lost my personality I had 0 Sex Drive. My boyfriend repulsed me. A month after I went off of it my sex drive came back and I was a lot more emotional but in a good way. I wanted my boyfriend again.

Yes, it caused me to become super depressed and to make matters worse at the time I was already battling depression so I was a train wreck. I had kept both doctors out the loop for the longest till my mom stepped in and I was forced to stop taking it. And if I wasn't depressed some days it made me super angry. Years later I took the patch and that was another horrible experience. I hate the stuff and I just wish pharmaceutical companies would put out a quality bc product that isn't going to kill us or depress us. :(

The pill is a powerful thing, it can do a lot of things to screw with you, body, mind, sex life. I gained about 10 lbs in the first month and was really moody but had no change in sex drive...actually, probably wanted it more but that could have just been a mood. It affects everyone differently though so don't expect it to happen for sure, it might, might not.
