Blog Question - Difference between views and followers?

What is the difference between the number of views your blog gets per day and the number of followers you have? Is it better to have more followers or is it just as good to have lots of through traffic? And what is a healthy number of views to have in an average day? Im new to this :] Curious!

Hi Katie(: Blog views are how many times someone looks at your blog. Followers are the people who add your blog to thier blog feed so your posts will come up when they look into blogger (if you use blogspot). Followers dont matter. You could have 1000 followers and none of them ever look or care about your blog. If people are viewing your blog and your blog views increase day by day thats good. (: Average views depend on if your blog is popular or not. My newest blog has 10 followers and sometimes i get 5 views a day and 50 the next. It all depends.(: If your new you probably wont get many followers or views just yet
