Colorburst Lip Butter - Cotton Candy

Creates a quick natural look!

Great color and it lasts a good amount of time. When I'm too tired in the morning or don't have enough time to do a full make-up before work I throw this on my lips and a little mascara for a natural look!

Not much more than a tinted lip balm

I really don't see the hype in these. To me, they're not much more than a tinted lip balm. The one I got was fairly light, with some shimmer in it, but I expected a little more coverage than what I got. I have drug store glosses with more pigmentation than that! Plus the one I have feels kind of drying on my lips after wearing it for a while. It can be applied and re-applied like a lip balm, which is nice and convenient, but I just don't get all the hype I guess!
It's not horrible, I'll definitely finish up the Cotton Candy one I have, but I'm not dying to buy them all, or even try another shade honestly.

Not worth it

I just don't like the texture. Not good at all. I have about 6 shades, I went a little nuts after hearing all the good things about them. I purchased two, I really liked the color payoff so I went back to my CVS and bought four more. After I purchased those and used them for another week or so, I was positive I was not in love with them. This product is NOTHING special or magical. Its a creamy lipstick. Period.

Perfect Pink

Even though it's a lip butter it has incredible pigmentation. This pink is very bright and has a sort of pearly look but I think it's great when I wear more of a neutral eye makeup.

smooth and nice

this stuff is great! i am not a big lipstick person but gloss and chapsitc yes! it feels so good and hidrating. and its kinda sheer so you can feel comfortable it in.

Great color

I love this color it goes well with my skin tone and a subtle smokey eye. I don't know about the moisturizing qualities but its not as dry as alot of lipsticks

Everything I expected!

After hearing all of the hype about the amazing Revlon Lip Butter, I expected a lot of great things from them. I finally got my hands on one yesterday, and the color Cotton Candy seemed a really great color for my skin tone in the season (fair, looking for a nice pop of color). The lip butter has really lived up to my whole expectations! It glides so smoothly over my lips and makes any rough spots immediately recede. It surprised me how much this actually reminded me of the MAC Sheen Supreme lipsticks, in terms of the feel of it on my lips and the color pay off. Unfortunately, they don't have the same delicious vanilla smell as the Sheen Supremes, but that may be the one real disappointment from this. All in all, I think the Lip Butters are amazing and hats off to Revlon for such an amazing product!

Great Pigment

I have two different shades of these, I bought one and I liked it so much that I went out and bought another. For a lip butter, these have great pigmentation.

I like the packaging. I got this in Cotton Candy, and I have olive tan skin tone. I think it is pigmented enough for a lip balm. Smooth and has a gloss. So its nice you can look good without having to put lipstick then lip gloss.

Have you looked these up on Youtube? They are super hyped up! Good or Bad? I got the color Cotton Candy and I love it! It is pretty sheer but i can build it up! This may only be mine but it seems like sometimes it starts to melt on contact with my skin which is nice, but is also bad because when i roll the tube back down it gets everywhere. Other then that I'm in love with these and want to get more!
