Bought this at The Makeup Show
I bought the package the y had which was this the 2oz. sprayer, the jar, and a pair of wipes for $25. Definitely the best brush cleaner I have used. The smell is so citrus-y and very clean. I love using this on my blending brush. Once I'm done using it i just grab my little handy-dandy sprayer and spray the brush hairs twice while rotating it. I then grab my makeup towel and start "brushing" it for like 30 seconds, after I'm done with that I just wait another 30 seconds to let it dry and it's perfectly clean. This product leaves my brushes very soft which, I love.
This is the best brush cleaner hands down! I never thought I would enjoy cleaning my brushes!! Clean, disinfected and almost dry! No brainer...buy it..it's worth every cent and could possibly add years to your brushes!!! I never give reviews but I had to with this product! !!
This product by far is the best brush cleanser I have ever used! It gets every bit of lipstick, lip gloss, concealer and foundation out of my brushes. I also use the mac brush cleanser and Parian is a million times better. It is quite a bit stronger than my mac cleanser, so I usually use it on my brushes I use creams on and use my mac cleanser on my fluffier brushes so I dont dry out the bristles. Definitely worth every penny!

This product is amazing, as the title of this review might indicate. A couple of quick spritzes and a swirl on a paper towel leaves my brushes clean, soft, immediately dry to the touch, and scented like fresh orange juice. I cleaned my brushes with another product only a day prior to receiving and using Parian Spirit, didn't use them in between cleanings, and I was amazed at all the residue left on the paper towel. I thought they were clean! Nope, but they sure are now. I'm throwing out my other brush cleaner immediately, and I'll stick to this one in the future.
It is magical. It got the waxy feeling out of my lip brush that hasn't come out since I first used it, no matter what I tried. It smells amazing too. It conditions your brushes noticeably. You hardly need any compared to other cleaners and it does a better job with less and it should last you a long time (unless you are an idiot like my sister and needlessly soak your face brushes in it).
I experimented with this cleaner last night on my favorite eyeshadow brush. The brush is in heavy rotation, with regular spot cleans and deep shampoo cleansing at least once a week. Imagine my surprise when Parian cleaner got out even more makeup gunk from my 'clean' brush! That faint orange smell is intoxicating and will easily give your room a citrus scent as it dries. Looks like I need to stock up on this cleanser. I want all of my brushes to be clean and smell fabulous.
Love the cleaner not the container. Defective pouring spout.
Love the citrus smell. Unfortunately, the 16 ounce bottles have a major leakage problem. The lid is on tight but the spout leaks horribly. When it arrived, my bottle was empty. Contacted customer service and they have been wonderful. Within minutes of notifying them, they sent out a replacement. Unfortunately the same problem happened again. Contacted customer service again, they informed me that they are working with the manufacturer to get this problem fixed. Other customers have had the same problem. They are sending me a replacement again. This time in the 2, 8 ounce bottles. They are to arrive by Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed that they arrive fully in tact. Beautylish has been such a wonderful company to do business with, so polite, curtious and helpful and that means a lot.
Fabulous Brush Cleaner!
I have been through so many different makeup brush cleaner brands...and I must say that this one is the best. The first time I had used this product, it removed every trace of eye shadow on my makeup brushes (even my deep, darker colors like black and blue!) Once the brushes are dried off with a paper towel, they even feel cleaner than before! I will definitely make this one a default brand!
Parian Spirit has been around for as long as I can remember, and there's a reason why: It works. This cleaner dissolves all types of makeup (powder, liquid, wax based and adhesive) and conditions the brush hair. Parian Spirit won't damage the paint or wooden handle of a brush either. It's a great spot cleanser, and it dries quickly.
You can purchase it in a traditional squeeze bottle, a travel spray or in a cleaner jar. I prefer the travel spray. I spray a small amount on my brush and gently swirl my brush on a paper towel until it is free of residue. If you ant a really deep cleansing, you have to submerge your brush into the solution for a minute or so and gently dab any excess solution off with a towel.
When speaking of alcohol based/food based solvent brush cleansers, the chemical formulations are pretty universal. I prefer Parian Spirit because of the clean and crisp citrus smell. I find most every other chemical grade brush cleansers smell annoyingly strong and/or cloyingly musky. This is a great brush cleanser; I highly recommend it.
Favorite Brush Cleaner
This is a great two in one Makeup Brush Cleaner. Not only will it remove every last stitch of makeup from your brushes, but it will also condition them as well. I use the spray for a quick clean when the brush is not that dirty. When I need to really remove a lot of makeup I use the bottle in conjunction with the jar. The jar has a special screen at the bottom so you can really give your brushes a great cleaning. Some people may not like the citrus smell, but it does not bother me one bit.
