Still on the Fence

I've been on the hunt for a great tinted-moisturizer that is oil free so I received a generous sample size of this from one of fave make-up joints. A little goes a long way but its very difficult to blend into the skin. You have to work in sections on your face to get an even coat. And beyond immediate application it takes on a gray cast on the skin. That goes away after a few minutes but after first seeing that I kinda freaked out and thought about washing it off. As far as texture...this stuff makes me skin look and feel smooth. I did not apply any moisturizer under this since my skin is combination and I want to get away from loading my skin with a whole bunch of stuff. Already working on day two I notice that after 5 hours I need to only blot my face once. It does lightly diffuse the fading acne scars on my jawline but this does not provide full coverage. So this is definitely something worth having if you need something quick to get you out the door but yet looking polished.

Perfect!

Got this moisturizer at Sephora and it's worth every dime!

Caramel matches my skin perfect and its light weight, stays all day and doesn't get shiny during the normal work day.

Very nice coverage for a natural look.

It's thicker than most moisturizers so if you want to make it more spreadable I'd just add a daily unscented face moisturizer.

LOVE IT!

Great for a natural look

I was looking for a product that had Sun protection and was oil free. I don't particularly like foundation and wanted a product that went on smoothly, looked natural, and didn't irritate my skin. Laura Mercier's oil free moisturizer is a perfect fit, for those that want to look like they have flawless skin and not look overdone. I have sensitive skin and severe allergies and was happy to find a product that didn't make my skin itch or cause rashes. After I wash my face with Aveeno calming foam and pat dry with a towel, I apply a small dot of the moisturizer to my forehead, nose cheeks and chin. I rub the tinted moisturizer (with clean hands) into my skin and have a flawless healthy glow. In comparison to Mac, Covergirl, and Revlon tinted moisturizers, Laura Mercier's product feels lighter on the skin and doesn't irritate.. Although Mercier's tinted moisturizer is $42, it works wonderfully and does not irritate skin. I will continue to buy this great product that makes my skin look flawless.
