I have grown to love this liquid liner not more than my Kiss pen liner though that is to die for. I have found out that I cannot wear this without having on eyeshadow this on a naked eye with just smudge off even though it says it doesnt smudge it does on me but hey I will repurchase if I cant get to my Kiss liner again. Its only a dollar who could beat that! I love liquid liner!
Not the best eyeliner
I bought this eyeliner at Target for $1 because I love e.l.f.'s eyeshadow palettes, but unfortunately the quality of this product let me down. Granted, it was only a dollar, but the consistency of the product was too wet, and it took a long time to dry. After it did dry, it smudged right away when I used an eyelash curler to curl my lashes, so I would have to reapply it. Also, it was a little bit of a challenge to apply, due to a stiff brush tip. My eyeliner came in the frustum-shaped tube, not the teardrop one pictured on the site sometimes, so I'm not sure if I got a defective/outdated product. Either way, I probably won't be buying again.
Cheap find
Hey, it's only a dollar. But I'd have to comment on the brush and the time it takes to dry. When I received the eyeliner, the tip of the brush wasn't as fine as I thought it would be. It was blunt and curved; pretty disappointed. However, the color of the liner is really black but the time it takes to dry takes a while. I have to fan my eyes for a good minute until I can do anything else.
I was so surprised when I used this product, for it was only $1. It goes on evenly and I love how easily it glides. You have to use two layers to get the desired color, but for $1, I can deal with that!
My favourite liquid liner
I got this product as part of a large e.l.f. haul when I was trying the brand. I'm usually really iffy on liquid liners, because they always seem to chip, but this liquid liner is amazing! And it only costs one dollar! Only 4.5 stars because I will always prefer the kinda crayon-y pencil liners, but e.l.f. liquid liner is the only liquid liner I'll use.
I love the brush, and a little goes a long way!
I was skeptical because $1 eyeliner, I thought it would be a sucky quality, but I was totally wrong! Usually for drugstore I head to maybelline for all of my eye products, but being I was at an all time low on money, I headed down to the elf section and picked up this bugger. The brush looked a bit lengthy for my small lid size, but when applying it was steady, a perfect winged eye! I have to say though, I wish there was a tad bit more pigmentation, because sometimes after applying I need to go back a couple times and fill in places that have somehow disappeared from having the liquid liner. For $1, I'm totally changing my price habits! This stuff lasts on my eye, and for me doesn't smudge, and I tend to always touch my eye even when I have makeup on:P
My favorite.
I need to replace my Lancome Artliner with something more animal-friendly and this is my favorite so far. The thin brush is wayy better than Artliner's chubby felt tip and the liner goes on very smooth and dark and dries matte. Will repurchase again and again and again...
A bargain
This eyeliner is amazing for the $1 price! it was very pigmented, did not come out gray and the brush stays together, I don't use liquid liner regularly but I had trouble getting a fluid line when I applied it but it does what I need it to do for the price and it doesnt move or transfer, but comes off easily with water.
My go to liner!
This liner is great for so many reasons! First off its not expensive its, what, $3 at the most. Its last forever and its so easy to work with. For me it seems to last forever, even though its a small bottle, its seems to have plenty of product. I ve tried all kinds of liners but I always go back to this one. It doesn't flake or fade. Honestly even though E.L.F. is a cheap brand they have some great high quality products!
