About Me

For our beautiful artist of the day, Alice Atakhanian, two things were obvious from her childhood years - her love of make-up artistry and the passion and destiny for greatness. Alice began her formal makeup training in 1997 with David Allen Dittmer, a person who's been well known and recognized as a giant in the makeup industry of Television and Motion Pictures as well as Dina Ousley, an actress turned Hollywood make-up artist well known in the show business arena.

During the years to follow, Alice's work ethics, passion, professionalism and instinct for the arts as well as the constant need to challenge herself set her apart from the rest and earned her many one-on-one training opportunities and later on professional reputation to work with many well known A-list celebrities in the Beauty and Entertainment industries. It didn't take long for TV advertisers, famous wedding planners and other well known entertainers to start seeking Alice's artistic talents in the fields of makeup and hairdo and before long she was known as a makeup Guru. Her passion and creativity kept shining in her work and earned her so many accomplishments.

December 2003, Alice opened her Salon called Alice Makeup Land and Beauty Salon in Glendale. In October, 24, 2004, she organized her first ever Bridal show in the Glendale Hilton hotel with over 500 attendees. It was a smash hit and a huge success! Many more special events and bridal shows followed as a result of Alice's creativity and talent.

Since 2004, Alice has been running her own business, nominated as Best beauty salon in southern California in 2010 by Kcal 9 TV. Her expertise for hairdos, hair extensions and makeup constantly keeps Alice in the spotlight and her other great achievement has been coming up with her own line of makeup and hair products LUSCIOUS BY ALICE - an outstanding beauty product line. Her dedication to excellence is well seen in her line, of course.
