About Me

My name is Farah George and I am currently working for MAC Cosmetics in San Diego, California. It was definitely a dream come true. Literally the moment I got the "you're hired" call, I started hyperventilating and called all my friends and family while crying tears of joy. The update classes you get to experience, and the product knowledge you get to learn is so fascinating. I've been wanting to work for this company since I was sixteen and took a make-up artistry program at eighteen to pursue my dream. I want to grow with the company. Make-up is my passion, but I have other interest as well. I recently graduated with a Psychology degree and now I'm back in school to learn more. I also took a pharmacy tech course. I love education, but nothing makes me happier than seeing a transformation on someone's face through make-up. It truly is an art and the face is the canvas. There are endless possibilities! My favorite is the pin-up girl era. I am in love with red lipstick! Just know that dreams do come true and never give up. If it's your passion, go for it.
