Worth a try!
I am a lipstick junkie... mostly because I can never find the right shade. I have my M.A.C. staples that are hard to replace. Although trust me I try! I stumbled upon this Nyx color in an earring shop at the mall. Before I purchased the lipstick I asked about their return policy and the clerk asked if I wanted to try it! OF COURSE!!!! I tried it and loved it! Its a perfect pale pink with a punch. Its neutral but NOT! The texture is definitely matte. Lips need to be exfoliated and moisturized before applying this product. Give it a try!
Horrible Lipstick!!
Now, I haven't tried others in this line, but this Hippie Chic lipstick is awful. Sure, it's creamy, but it applies patchy. The only thing matte about it is the lack of shine or glitter. It feels more like a cream lipstick. I tried it over liner, lip primer, and it still wouldn't apply right. I just couldn't get the thing to work. This is probably my first miss with NYX.
LOVE MATTE
I love Matte lipsticks and these are among my favorites. They are highly pigmented powerhouses. The color payoff is incredible and the tubes are conveniently clear in the middle for me to preview that FABU shade! THANK YOU NYX!
Matte!
This is so bright and I love it! Its a great alternative to red. Also, matte finishes really make colors pop! The color stays on for like, forever. The most important thing is to make sure your smoochers are moisturized and exfoliated!!!
Great Matte Lippie on the cheap!
When I first decided to buy this I was a bit skepitcal because it was only $6 & 98% of all other drug store lipsticks are horrible on me! It is creamy & long lasting in color. I highly reccomend this to everyone who is wanting to explore with colors or a great cheap alternative to the high end brands!
The perfect late night statement pink!
Have you been looking for a Pink that will just knock your socks off? If so then you must try the Shocking Pink! This color is so pigmented! Since is is Matte I suggest you apply this to lips that have been moisturized a good hour! I love the Matte finish a great color for September because I am ready for summer to be over but not ready to put my summer colors away :)

I love this matte lipstick. I just bought it today... It's amazing, smooth and opaque. The texture is awesome. I'm going to buy more colors. The only issue I have is with my lips because the lipstick tends to sink into the lines of my lips.
Love A Rockabilly Need!
Absolutely loveee this lipstick, I only have it in this shade, though I definitely see myself buying other shades soon. I am a huge fan of matte lips extremely so you can imagine how much I was excited when I cam across this. It gives enough moisture, and the color pay-off is amazing, if I am wearing this all day I think I have to re-apply once maybe!!! It leaves a nice stain.
Bright bold colour- NYX Matte lipstick in Summer Breeze

M'eh - I think I like them
I love NYX lipsticks in general - for one I have sensitive lips and a lot of products make my lips blow up, crack, peal, weep, bleed - nasty. But NYX lipsticks are gorgeous.. I got some pale and nude shades in the matte ones and they made me look a bit dead. But they are beautiful moisturing and matte, so they do their job - I must have been high at the time, cause I didn't buy the red one (and I wear red ALL THE TIME), and everyone says how great it is, so that is on my to buy list
