Clogs pores
The description for this foundation makes it sound so great but it is just horrible for skin. It clogs up pores and is greasy. If you are looking for a nice dewy foundation that has beneficial ingredients and makes you look youthful, I recommend Benefits "Hello Flawless" or Lorac's "Breakthrough Performance Foundation"
Sheer Yet Buildable
I am OBSESSED with this foundation. When you first see it you wouldnt think that it's going to do amazing things for your skin coverage wise since it's so then but the finish and coverage that is left on my skin is beyond amazing. It covers practically everything and leaves my skin with the most radiant natural glowing coverage. I would definitley not suggest it if you have naturally oily skin. My skin is combo and I set my t zone with a bit of powder and I'm perfect all day. I love love love this!
AMAZING
I've tried SO many foundations from different brands, and even though both MAC Mineralize and Select foundations are great, this is by far the best foundation I have ever tried. It just glides on so easily and is so blendable (of course, this would also depend on the type and quality of the brush you use). The salesperson gave me a sample when I bought The Multiple (in Orgasm, which is amazing) and I just fell in love. I thought that with my acne-prone and scarred skin that it would draw attention to my flaws but it covered everything perfectly, and made my skin glow in all the right places! I definitely recommend it (:
dewy!!
Pretty good.. buildable coverage and it leaves a dewy finish, i used it last summer and it did pretty well .. the color eventually got too light for me and i haven't bought another one since it is $40 /: a little pricey but if u like a dewy finish this stuff is pretty damn good!
I mean yea, it's good... but..
I was obsessed with buying this when I saw it on Kristina H. Her skin looked so amazing, I just had to have it. And while I was really pleased with the effect on myself, I wasn't nearly as giddy as I thought I would be. I know that everyone's skin is different and for me, it just wasn't AS awesome (but still pretty darn good).
The coverage is surprisingly full but doesn't dry heavy. The sheer glow factor is nice and delivers a more natural look.
I expect miracles, darnit! And while this didn't bring a tear to my eye, it covered the zit on my chin just fine.

I really love NARS Sheer Glow Foundation! I have combination skin which usually gets very oily in my nose area and although the foundation has got a dewy texture its not to oily that it slides off. I do find if I use a primer underneath it does make it last a lot longer.
I am obsessed with finding that 'perfect' foundation and I have gone through so many products. When I heard about the Sheer Glow I was so desperate to try it and boy was I glad when I did.
It's a very build able coverage (I don't like to use it all over my face, just in the redder areas and blend it out) but also can be very light. I blend it using a buffing brush and it gives the most amazing flawless but natural finish. I don't feel like it clogs my pours and it does seem to allow my skin to breath. I also have read that it is meant to make your skin 'better and brighter', and I don't know if it's because I'm using a few new products in my skin routine, but this product has seemed to make my skin brighter and more awake and also hasn't broke me out!!
It's a little pricey but so worth it if your looking for a natural skin, glowey, amazing look. I recommend this to anyone!
Not for me
I tried this and it just did not give me the look or coverage I was going for. I am a big fan of Nars products but this one did not do it for me. I also started breaking out when I used this for some time. I ended up returning it to Sephora.
Not enough coverage and no glow
LOVE THIS foundation.
I have been using MAC studio fix fluid(NW45) for years, and wanted to try something that is lighter, but still provided me with some coverage. This NARS foundation has a wide range of colors to suit the needs every skin tone. It is very blendable and gives the skin a satiny type finish. I wouldn't say it has any type of "GLOW", but for me, the glow was the fact that my extremely dry skin was moisturized and could actually shine with this foundation.
Awesome product! Everything I could ever want in a foundation!
I've used everything from just about every cheap Walgreens brand to Lancome and MAC and I'd have to say this is by far my favorite foundation! I love to use a "full coverage" foundation but its really hard to find one that gives you full coverage without looking too heavy..Nars Sheer Glow Foundation is the best of both worlds! You can build it as much as you need and its still light and breathable. I always moisterize before using concealer and foundation but I have found that with this product I can skip that step if Im short for time and still get a hydrated,long-lasting effect! Love this product!! I give it 5 stars! Shoot, I give it SIX! :) (for some reason the the star meter will not let me grade it higher than a 4.5)
