Milani mineral blush in Luminous is a really pretty pink, peach golden shimmer color blush. On my complexion I can wear this color as a blush or as a high light color. The texture of the blush is very pigmented and very smooth. I enjoy the product and the color so much that I purchased two of them. I definitely recommend this product and this color.
Beautiful color for darker skintones
Wow! I usually wait ages before posting reviews, but I got these yesterday in the mail (Mai-Tai and Sunset Beach) and was immediately blown away by the quality of these blushes. I'm soo bummed that I slept on these....they're discontinued and are very difficult to find in the drugstores. I ordered 3 of each on ebay for about $3 a piece. I really like the Baked Blushes and am so far very impressed with the Minerals Blush.
I use my Real Techniques stippling blush to apply and these blend in beautifully with my skintone (NW45/Caramel). I don't need alot of product to get a very natural look. So far they are lasting quite nicely. I've been wearing Mai-Tai for about 5 hours and it still shows with no need for a touch-up.
You can build this blush up to whatever intensity you desire. It doesn't look cakey or fake. I'm so glad I decided to give this a try....I'm probably going to pick up a couple more as backup!
I've hardly put a dent in it!
I picked up this blush, pretty much because Milani was on sale, and I needed a blush since mine had just run out and I wanted to try something different. I've had it for months now, and I've seriously hardly made a dent it in. I use it pretty much everyday with a fluffy angled blush brush, and I love it! It's matte, which I'm really a fan of, I'm pale, so sometimes shimmer overwhelms me. It feels so light, I usually forget that I even put it on! Compared to my other daily products, this one looks like I've hardly used it! Definitely not a bad thing since I like it so much!
Loved this blush, i have two colors ( cant remember the names of them) but I love the color payoff! theyre both matte and I usually mix them with black Radiance blush to give me exactly what I want lol
I bought this blush from ebay for 2 bucks. I have heard so many people compare this blush to Nars Orgasm and I have to agree that they are very similar. Luminous is a sheer peach golden blush. I love that it is sheer because I can keep layering it to get the intensity I want instead applying too much the first time.
I will def be repurchasing this product.
This color is kind of on the dark side for my skin tone but i love it cuz its kind of like a blush and a bronzer for me. a little goes a long way. sometimes ill apply it lightly with a fluffy brush and other times ill apply it a little darker cuz i just love it (: its matte and it lasts pretty long on my face.
love love love!
This brand is always good when it comes to blush. I have one of the marble ones (sorry, not sure of the exact name) it is great for a little shimmer on the cheeks. I love these ones more because they are matte, which I prefer. As for the little brush it comes with, I dont know how it works because I have never used it, but it doesnt look like its good.
Pigmented, proceed with caution
Overal: Milani blushes are super pigmented and made from a soft powder. I recommend either a duo fiber brush or using a regular brush and brushing off some of the excess on the back if your hand before applying.
Color: I would describe this color as a red coral, matte with no shimmer. It is great for a coral cheek with a bit of a "flushed" look too.
If I didn't have so many freak'n blushes (more than 10) I would purchase every shade of this formula.
Love this blush
This blush is really nice and easily goes on. The color I got however doesn't compliment my skintone all that well so I'll have to go with another next time but it's a great blush. Luminous is pink with gold shimmer in it and I feel like you could even use it to highlight
If you are looking for a dupe for NARS Orgasm, this $3 blush is it! I found this at my local CVS after seeing so many beauty gurus rave about it. I took off one star because I'm not that big of a fan of sparkly blush, but I do like to wear it out!
