I love Maybelline, but this is definitely not one of their best mascaras! It's very basic and doesn't provide much length or volume. It doesn't clump, which is great, but it smudges very easily! I probably won't repurchase this.
I cant leave my house without applying Maybelline mascara..its easy to clean off but still stays on all day without clumps or any messyness.it also gives my lashes body ..honestly the best product....
separates all lashes, stays on all day, no clumps or lashes sticking together. need one coat for an everyday look, just brilliant and so inexpensive! my only thing is, it's a daily mascara as opposed to one you would wear when you go out as it gives your eyes a bright, wide alertness but doesn't make them look anymore full than they are which is generally what i'm looking for in a mascara i'd wear on a night out, but i would thoroughly recommend.
I've always used this mascara and it has never failed me! Great for its value and an absolute classic and must for everyone. I always see others using this one or the water proof one, and have never heard a bad review from it!
My First Mascara
This mascara is great for it's value as it is one of the cheapest ones out there. If you are looking mainly to darken your lashes and add some slight length it is a good choice. I prefer a bolder lash but would recommend this far anyone looking to enhance their eyes with a natural look.
I bought this product after hearing so many good reviews about it on youtube, i loved the packaging but Hate the mascara! its just like everyother mascara,it does nothing special,i have really big eyelashes but this product made them look so small and puny so i'd only recommend this product to someone who wanted Just Black lashes with little volume.disappointing to be honest.
This is my first mascara I had when I was in the 6th/7th grade. The packaging is different now of course, but besides that nothing has changed. I decided to buy it because it was on sale and it was just a "in the moment buy". It's watery, messy and ineffective. It rubs off quickly and leaves me with smudges of black under my eyes. I have average lashes, not extremely long but not short either, but this did nothing to help with volume. You have to put on multiple coats to get any result and then it flakes/clumps disgustingly. No wonder it's so cheap and always on sale, it doesn't deserve the hype. The only thing I can mumble out saying I like is that it's super black.
Way back glamour!
This mascara takes me way back in the days when I saw my aunts, older sister use this item. After all these years it seems to still be wonders on the eyes.
I remember seeing my mom use this stuff when I was real small. I guess that says something about how long this stuff has been around! She still uses it, and so does my grandmother (and so do I). It's a decent product, doesn't clump for a looooooong time, and stays pretty 'thin' and liquidy for at least 4 months (as long as you don't pump the brush!). Only downside for me is the fact that it takes a little bit to dry and it doesn't really add any volume or length... If you have nice lashes, it just enhances them I guess.
Not the best out there
I debate about whether I should go out and get this, then write a review- or just stick with my memory about this product, (hopefully thats sufficient) and not waste the money. I used to use this mascara way back before I was seriously into makeup- in my tweens and teens. I thought mascara was mascara- it didn't cater to different issues or concerns. Heck, I didn't know there was any different way to even apply mascara! In hindsight, the best thing about this product was its gorgeous, modern packaging. I loved the cute, edgy, girly design but the mascara was OK. I got some clumps, not a lot of length or volume, and for best results you needed to use a lash comb- a simple fix, but another step to do. I remember this to be a little messy, and just average. Will it coat your lashes a nice black? Yes. Will it do a ton of other awesome things? No. So its great in a pinch, but not ideal. It might work better to use this as a liner- take an angled eyeliner brush, run through the comb and apply as a liner. This is a tip I found on a beauty site.
